Purpose

Founded in 2011, Calendarr exists to make all dates that are important to you easy to celebrate and enjoy, with tools that help you take ownership of your time. We publish free content about holidays, celebrations, and meaningful days, including context about origins and traditions. We review and update content regularly so it stays clear, useful, and reliable.

We are a team of developers, writers, researchers, and editors focused on efficiency, quality and clarity. We improve our content based on what people search for and what readers ask.

Team

Airene Guha is a self described creative who loves writing, enjoys sunsets, and says ideas often show up at 3:00 am. She has been writing content since 2014.

Suhasini Biswas holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and a Master’s in Journalism. Writing has long been her primary outlet, and she turned it from a hobby into a profession.

Luís Cabral holds a degree in Communication and has worked as journalist for 7 years before embracing the challenge of developing Calendarr’s vision in 2012.

Former Members

Ralph Bossingham has over twenty years’ experience as a saxophone and piano teacher in a school and ten years’ experience as a music therapist in a hospital. In 2021, he completed a CELTA course and qualified as an EFL English teacher. He also teaches English online to adults and children worldwide.

How the website is financed

Calendarr is financed through online advertising and affiliate marketing. These support the costs of content team, hosting, and tool development. Ads are clearly identified and kept separate from editorial content.
